it’s summer now. austin is sweaty and dehydrated. we need rain. yesterday I watched adults throw their bodies down a slide of slip. i laughed and today i cried. i love this city but dang, i need a break.

i’ve been waking up sad lately which pisses me off. i never want the magic to disappear, i get scared that it will. i worry that shadows won’t always make me smile and beards won't always make me swoon.
